Who is eligible to join the Spouses Club?

Anyone with a military connection at Travis AFB can join! Membership is open to spouses of Active Duty, Reserve, Guard, retired, or DoD civilian personnel stationed at or near Travis Air Force Base.

Can male spouses Join?

Yes, male spouses are welcome. We do not discriminate on basis of race, color, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, religion or ethnic group.

Can active duty join if also a military spouse?

Yes, we welcome all spouses of enlisted Active Duty, Reserves or National Guard personnel in the U.S. Armed Forces, as well as spouses of retired enlisted military personnel and spouses of current and retired DoD civilian personnel GS-08 and below, located within the Travis community.

Can I try the Club out?

Guests are welcome to attend any monthly meeting. Guests who are eligible for membership may not attend more than two club functions, including monthly meetings and interest groups or “sub-clubs,” before joining.

What if I can’t afford my dues?

We never want cost to be a barrier to connection. The club can sponsor memberships for eligible spouses through our charitable fund.

When can I join?

We accept members year-round, at anytime, but it is easiest to join at a General Membership Meeting.

How much does it cost to be a member?

Dues are $40 annually, which can be paid in cash, by check or online.

Where do my membership dues go?

Your dues help make club events and programs possible! They support monthly socials, mini-clubs, and member activities that benefit Travis families and our base.

How many events are there a month?

We host a variety of events throughout the year — from socials and volunteer opportunities to mini-club gatherings. Keep an eye on our Events Calendar for updates and new activities!

What makes Our Club different?

We’re different because we give back and bring people together. From the Travis Community Thrift Shop to our Dorm Drop program, plus scholarships, socials, and mini clubs — everything we do supports Travis families.

We give back to the Travis community through scholarships and charitable support, while creating camaraderie through social events and mini clubs that connect and strengthen military families.

Does the Club take donations?

Yes, the Spouses’ Club is a 501(c)3. In addition to fundraising, our work is made possible by donations, which are tax-deductible where allowable under the law. Please contact us to discuss donations.
