TSC Scholarship Program

The Travis Spouses' Club awards scholarships annually to dependent family members of qualifying military sponsors. Awards support tuition, books, and on-campus room and board at accredited U.S. colleges, universities, and trade schools.
Who May Apply
Dependent children or spouses of:
Active Duty, Guard, or Reserve members assigned to Travis AFB
Retired military residing within a 50 mile radius of Travis AFB
Deceased (KIA/MIA) service members with dependents residing within a 50 mile radius of Travis AFB

People who qualify include Travis AFB military dependents, including spouses who be enrolled in a higher education in Fall 2026. TSC is awarding several scholarships up to $40,000. Scholarships can be used at any accredited US college, university, technical, or trade school institutions

Applications are completed via a Google form, which will be released at the beginning of the scholarship cycle. You can email travisspousesscholarships@gmail.com for more details or questions you might have.

An independent group of judges evaluates the applications. The judges are not spouses nor Air Force members. That way an outside panel reviews each application. The applications are anonymized (made anonymous).

Yes, rank has no bearing on application selection.

Not necessarily. The active-duty sponsor must be assigned to perform active duty at Travis AFB. Honorably Discharged Veterans and retiree sponsors must reside within a 50-mile radius of Travis AFB for you to qualify.

Yes, if the sponsor is stationed at Travis AFB or lives within 50 miles of Travis AFB at any point during the application window.

Yes, if the applicant is attending an accredited US institution. We are unable to send funds to foreign institutions.

Yes, this scholarship is open to any military personnel assigned to Travis AFB.

Yes. However, you must submit the application and your sponsor’s DD214 as proof of service with an honorable discharge.
